Natasha's Symbiote Powers Come Into Play for New Limited Series

Commencing with Black Widow & Hawkeye #1, a significant turning point emerges for the two central characters. In this scenario, Clint faces an accusation regarding an unauthorized assassination attempt. Consequently, tension arises between the United States and Madripoor, Marvel's fictional island in maritime Southeast Asia. Natasha, now equipped with a symbiote, comes to Barton's aid, unravelling their intertwined past and examining its impact on their forthcoming endeavors. Recent issues of Venom unveiled Black Widow forming a connection with her newfound symbiote, and this association will persist in the limited series Thunderbolts, scheduled for December, where she collaborates with Bucky Barnes and a selection of the Marvel Universe's most lethal spies and assassins.

Segovia's cover of Black Widow & Hawkeye #1 provides fans with a sneak peek at Romanoff's fresh attire, showcasing her symbiote-inspired style. Furthermore, Derrick Chew's recently unveiled variant cover of Thunderbolts #1 offers an even more intricate portrayal of her new ensemble, complete with a spider-like mask and web shooters engaging in action. Although symbiotes typically feature in Spider-Man narratives, various characters have served as hosts in the past, including the Guardians of the Galaxy. Marvel Comics will release Black Widow & Hawkeye #1 for sale on March 13.
